Privacy Policy

Orta is an app for personal and team tasks. This page explains what data we process and why.

What we store

• Account: your Sign in with Apple identifier and the name you entered. We do not store the e-mail from Apple.
• Content: tasks, subtasks, lists, spaces, comments and attachments (photos and files) you create.
• Settings: language, theme, daily-summary time, time zone, which notifications are on.
• Notifications: the device token for Apple push notifications (APNs).
• Purchases: Apple-signed information about your Orta Pro purchase (transaction ID, product, expiry). Payment details are handled by Apple only.

Camera and photos

The camera is used only to scan an invite QR code; the camera image is not stored or sent anywhere. From your photo library we upload only the photos you pick as task attachments — the app never asks for access to the whole library.

Why

Only to make the app work: syncing between your devices, collaboration in team spaces, task notifications and subscription checks. We do not sell data, show ads or use tracking.

Who sees your data

Your personal space is visible only to you. Tasks in a team space are visible to the members of that space, to the extent its owner allows. Data is not shared with third parties except Apple (sign-in, push notifications, purchases) and our server hosting provider.

Storage and security

Data is transferred over HTTPS and stored on the Orta server. The API is accessible only with your session token.

Deletion

You can delete your account in the app: Profile → “Delete account”. Your spaces, tasks, attachments, settings and notification tokens are deleted and the link to your Apple ID is revoked. Server backups are cleared within 30 days.

Children

The app is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Your rights

You can view and change your data in the app at any time, request an export (write to us) or delete the account entirely.

If this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
